Haramachida is an interchange railway station in Machida, Tokyo, Japan. The husband and I had the opportunity to explore this area last weekend, and among the four tracks there are huge buildings, supermarkets, and department stores!

I just wanted to share with everyone a snippet of our adventure throughout the city

Daiei

This is a giant traditional Japanese supermarket, It was really interesting to see all of the products that are carried and popular in this country. I wanted to get a bunch of snacks and try them to see what I liked, of course none of the labels are in English so we just made an educated and hopeful guess. I will be showing you all the snacks soon, but I can honestly say Japan definitely has a unique appetite.

Some candy options

Different kinds of meat

44 Apartment

This was a cozy & modern restaurant that we chose for dinner. They offered really traditional Japanese cuisine, but they also had more "Americanized" food choices.

Our waiter actually spoke English as well which is very uncommon here. I ordered the bacon hamburger, hold the bun. 10/10 this place was awesome, the burger was great and their sauce is to die for!

My Meal

Pet store

My husband made the mistake of taking me into the store and I may or may not have for sure fallen in love with everything I laid my eyes on. All of the animals information was in Japanese so I had no clue what breed, or where they came from but they were so dang cute! There wasn't one puppy bigger than my hand seriously, and luckily the Army doesn't allow pets in our apartment or I would have begged for one!

Complete downfall to purchasing a pup from a Japanese store like the one we visited, 1 dog will cost an absolute fortune! I'm not kidding, there wasn't one animal in that store under $6,000!!

I still can't get over, how adorable

We did end the night getting to see some Japanese street performers, and it's definitely different from the states but he had such good energy and crowd involvement that it was a lot of fun to watch!
